This is my mate Jimmy. He’s a passionate & relentless campaigner for our environment.

Jimmy and Jessica Clarke, were working on conservation projects in the Amazon Basin in Bolivia and came up with an idea. Jimmy had grown a huge travellers beard which drew the attention of locals and started conversations about conservation. Jessica would say "it's a beard to support conservation", which led to the pair starting BeardsOn for Conservation.

BeardsOn for Conservation is an Australian based, not-for-profit organisation which encourages men to get their beard growth sponsored to raise awareness about conservation.

Their motto is “Grow something great, leave something greater” .  

The annual BeardsOn Challenge takes place during Winter - June 1st to August 31st.
